Craig is already a winner and with time promises to one of the sports "hitters" and TOOTEES is proud to be associated with his effort.   Craig Richardson is 12 years old and born Feb. 17, 1987. He started racing in 1996 at age 9. He won his first race in June 1996. He was 1996 jr. pro spring world champion for 8-9 year olds.He won points at Brown County Dragway in 1996 and had several wins and runner up several times and also was chosen Rookie of the Year in '96. In 1997 he was co points champion at Brown County Dragway again.He also went to Bandemere Speedway in Denver Co. for NHRA Jr. Nats. and finished 3rd. 1998 is off to a good start with 6 wins and 4 second place finishes. Craig also qualified 3rd at Terre Haute to go to Jr. Nats. this year and hopes to do well. Crew consists of: Billy, Mom, Dad, Misty, and nephew Collin. Craig is currently going into 7th grade at Shelbyville Middle School. He also enjoys basketball, baseball, and swimming.       .     Here is an update on Craig's progress this year.  Finished in semis again in 98 NHRA jr. nationals at Indianapolis Raceway park held in July.  Qualified to represent Terre Haute Action Drag strip for Division 3 finals to be run at Indianapolis September 19 & 20.  Has won 4 first place finishes in July and August.  He is currently 2nd  in points at Terre Haute Action Drag strip.  Has had a very good season so far more to come!!!!!! UPDATE: Labor Day Weekend: Saturday, Terre Haute Action Drag strip: Winner. Currently #2 in the points. Sunday: Brown County Dragway:  Runner Up. Monday: Brown County Dragway:  Runner Up.
