This customer made his first passes with the new TOOTEES "span loader" out of the box at Hattiesburg, Ms. on Feb. 26, at the Holly Championship Series, and made 2 back to back passes at 4.95 e.t. @ 140 mph in the eighth mile. Bennies's words for the car were "smooth, comfortable and consistent". This car at the 240" wheelbase with the same power train used in '99 was 70 lbs. lighter than last years 225" car, and had a quicker 60 ft. time. The next weekend at Carolina the car went back to back 7.81s without nitrous in both lanes !
