Bill "TOOTEE" Tippins. . ..........

Bill Tippins with His late Father Bill Sr., and lovely wife Jerre, have been involved in the auto racing industry for 30 years. Tootee has built a reputation of immaculate craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail that is a large part of the reason his company has survived so long and for its unblemished safety record. Bill was involved with the defense industry before striking out on his own. He was a navy certified welder and also had experience with electronic assembly and design. His love of racing one day moved him to try his hand, and his record of success speaks for itself. He was a pioneer in the evolution of the Pro Mod class. His designs have not only been safe, but are winners and record setters. Many held best engineered honors or are Record  Holders. He has been involved with Clemson University in their Formula SAE program as well as The University  Of Nevada, Las Vegas, and has had SFI safety training along with the pleasure and experience that helping build and then operate a Dragstrip would add to his many talents and career moves, being able to work on the electronics to keep the race going to helping Jerre run the dragstrip restaurant. He is active in his community providing water chemical testing for the city water department, he is on the Board of Trustees at his church and helps with the annual car show,  he has given many tours of his facility to schools, churchs, and Boy Scout Troops.  Tootees has sponsored many vehicles over the years including several jr. dragsters, top dragster entries,  and even a Nitro Funny Car. Tootees Race Cars has made sales world wide. Tootees Race Cars has been located in the same location for 28 years.
